Freelander 1 windshield wiper Transmission Linkage

Is there anyway to repair this or just try to buy a used one?

clips that supposedly fix it .. can be bought
or ..
a new linkage piece can be bought
mine quit working ..
i replaced the linkage .. wasn't expensive and were easy to install
