Windscreen wipers not working

Hi

My windscreen wipers have stopped working. The washer still works and the fuse is OK.

Any ideas where I should start checking to see what's wrong ?

Is there another fuse anywhere ?

Wiring come loose ? If so where do I need to check this.

Fuse

Wiper Switch

Wiring at motor

Earth (unlikely on wipers)

Wiper Motor

Check all your fuses first. If none broken found, remove wiper motor cover (behind passenger dash trim - only a few screws do undo - buster has a guide).

Check connections. If all OK try running wire from battery positive to live feed - if motor runs you knwio it's the steering stalk. If it doesn't - motor.

Oh - and take it you can't hear the motor turning - can sometimes have wiper arm drive fail, which leaves motor turning but wipers not moving

you could also check the wiper wheel boxes are ok and also the drive wire.

Once you can access the wiper motor itself it shouldn't take too long tfor you to suss out where the fault lies.

Sorted.

The earth had come off of the motor, must have happened last weekend when I was changing the speakers.
