Windscreen wiper blade removal

Hi. Has anybody got any tips how to remove the wiper blades on a 2011 disco 4 please?

Carefully.............seriously put something like a pillow on the glass in case the arm snaps back and cracks the screen when you have removed the blade,

Do drivers side first as its easier to get to, they can be a sod mainly as dont pivot all the way forward, who thought that was a good idea!

Thanks for the tips chaps. I'm struggling to work out how to undo the clip that holds the blades in. I've had a look on YouTube and cant find anything helpful.

No mate, its different to that, I'll take a pic of it, could be after market blades on I suppose!

If your replacing the blades, it's easier to break the plastic bit that holds them to the arm and they come off ok then.

Possibly as any other Bosch wiper blade that accepts hook style of wiper arm with the supplied universal adaptor.
Lift the arm fully off the screen and with the blade 90 degrees to the arm pull the blade back slightly back down the arm 1/2 inch or so to release the hook from the adaptor, force is some times require for various reasons.

Thanks for the tips folks. I had to break the plastic clips to remove the blades in the end. New blades fitted and working a treat.

I've spent ages trying to get old blades off over the years. I learnt the quickest way is to break the plastic tag/clip off with a screwdriver, only takes a couple of seconds.
