windscreen wash

It's all bull****, especially that lidl -60 degree crap, how do they get away with it every year? I always mix it at least as strongly as the recommendations and come the first -2 morning it's all frozen in the pipes??

oh well cant please everyone , think ill go and buy some screen wash and new wiperblades cause its raining and the wiperblades are making a funny noise must be the rinse aid squueek squuek lol

or add some vodka that should stop it freezing up

Back in 2010 when we had -15 temps everywhere had run out of low temp screen wash, so I used vodka

Its the sound of yer windscreen surround rusting!

Arh heated screens front n rear screen wash neat I add water as it runs down also add meths no freezing at all.

When I was driving chemical tankers back in the 'eighties we used methanol (one of the products transported) & the washers never froze, even on motorway journeys.
Probably didn't do the rubbers/paintwork any good but the drivers considered their safety was more important than (the company's) money
