Just a quick heads up, if your heavy handed don't attempt to remove the windscreen if you don't want to break it :)

I ended up cracking it in about 10 seconds so I used my size 12 feet to kick the rest through a fitted my spare quite easily.

What's the proper way to remove a windscreen without breaking it? I'll need to remove it again when I come to paint my truck, or maybe I'll just buy new from paddocks and do it thr size 12 way again..

You could refit the new window with a cheap seal and just cut the seal when you want it out for the respray, then fit a good seal when you do the final fit, also a good opportunity to fit a heated screen and sort the wiring out at a later date.

I never thought about a heated screen in all honesty, fitting was easy I just got my 4 year old to push slightly on the screen from the bonnet and used string to pull the seal in. Only took about 20 mins from sticking my foot through it to finishing off. I noticed that the last guy who painted this truck had the screen out as the new paint was behind the seal

Cut the seal away from the glass at the front - Stanley knife job, then push it out. As long as it hasn't been glued in, should come out easily.

035.jpg I tried to get a heater one out, as a mate had purchased a new frame and glass for kGott but only wanted the frame
I cut the rubbers seal all around & spent ages doing it, and then the dreaded crack (
the bloody think was siliconed in.
It would never of come out in one pice ffs

Although my original one came out really easy , as said I just cut the rubber away from the glass and it fell out.
