The final windscreen in the P38 was replaced around a year ago now. Originally it cracked and was replaced in the insurance of the previous owner. The people who installed it were not very competent. It leaked and was replaced again. It leaked again and was replaced again. 3rd time lucky? Errr no. It seemed ok at first but the head liner seemed to get damp occasionally on the passenger side. Now it's become terrible again and I'm not going back to get yet another screen that leaks. Inspection of the screen seems to show the sealer is a bit ebeerneezer Scrooge in that corner which is why I suspect it's leaking. So I was going to pull all the trim off and add some extra sealer round the top corner inside and out to see if that solves it first. Any advice on the correct sealer for the job? You can just see a drip after washing.

Somebody also had leaks coming from roof rails. Around the spot welds if I remember correctly.
Mine does exactly the same but haven't had time to investigate yet.

Hi guys,

Been a while but I thought I’d report back. So I spent a bit more time researching various different sealers and ended up coming back to Tigerseal Pu which I’ve actually used in the past for other things and totally forgot about.
So first I stripped back the a post covers and the top seal. It looked pretty messy up there with some poor coverage. I cleaned it up and added more sealer as well as sealing in the a pillar clips. It was much better and I didn't have dripping water but the headliner would still get damp. A couple of weeks later took out the sun visors etc and pulled the headliner down. I have sealed every joint and back filled the screen too. Now it is sorted even in this stormy weather. Pictures show what it was like when I pulled the covers off. BTW does any know the part number for the pastic clips that hold the top seal on. Some were broken....

OMG what a nightmare! I had a massive leak in mine too, what is it with screen repair companies?
Mine was so bad the drivers-side footwell filled up with water overnight during a really bad storm.
Seems OK since they ripped all the trim off, saw the screen install had been a bodge-job and replaced the screen etc.
Who needs a leaky car eh?
Glad you have it fixed at last.
