Windows steaming up

Anybody got any pointers on where to start with a 2001 V6 automatic with a problem of steaming windows. Heater blowers dont clear the problem. HG done 12 months ago and heater stat replaced. Jasper

sorry mate tis a freelander thing ..most of em do it. try doin a search, bin covered quite a bit lately. is it just the screen or all windows...... search for CONDENSATION....

...its all windows Nigel8, but the main problem is the screen. Very dangerious at nite. Jasper

get a dehumidifier in there for a couple o days and remove all trim surround windscreen and seal.Also check under lower windscreen trim behind wipers for clear drains and leaks in air con systems.

If yir hippo got wet then its probly yir door av fallen orf,,,

Freelander - MISTING OF INTERIOR WINDOWS - REAR VENT - Land Rover

This may sound obvious but we get people with recirculation on and not fresh air with misting probs. Sometimes wet pollen filters, but usually on cars with filter under the screen in the bulkhead. Any damp inside wont help look around that site for other leak issues.

Check the drain from your air con. mine was blocked from new, the first thing I knew about it was a sloshing sound from the blower fan. Then when I took the plastic air duct of the fan a load of water poured out.
