Can someone explain why they're called 'kerb feelers'? Thanks

Big alloys tend to find curbs and feel 'em;)

Ah, ok. That's why my friends tend to ask for a taxi to the kerb when I park View attachment 160220
best way.

the first range rover i had a classic, i kept getting punctures in the nearside front tyre, after the the third, they who i used for tyres back then said to me "i'll tell you how to stop getting punctures, dont park in the gutter, leave about 9 inches from the kerb, that where all the detritus collects, with bigger tread tyres they tend to flick up nails and screws, stop putting the tyres into the gutter and your not get punctures" i followed that advice and in the decades since the only time i picked up metal in the tyre (twice) is when i made a run to the tip !

I've literally just seen that, whilst looking at something else. Oh well , no matter who posted it, the owner is a prat :D

Indeed, think we can all agree on that ref the owner , must admit is pretty funny

Dam it, I better put my white paint down for the tyre letters , ;):D

I believe Sir, it is time you surrendered your green oval keys. Then , after a quick course of antibiotics, take yourself to the J##p dealership!

Can't think of any mindset i'd want to be in to warrant painting that on my tires ;)

Either he momentarily lost his mind, or was just very very bored with way too much time on his hands! ;)

Afternoon all,

Had an issue over the summer with the little man and our Labrador getting uncomfortably hot in the back of the Range on a trip down from Scotland.

So I'm looking at having the rear windows tinted.

Any opinions on what I should be paying for a company to do this?

Or...it it easy enough for someone with no technical ability (;)) to do it myself??

Cheers
Custom tint on teams valley I got mine done at. The lass was an x Landy owner. Good job, reasonable price.
