Window switches

Okay this should be my last problem , I've fixed two out of three windows , bad motor and a bad switch was the problem . Now this , the passenger front side the up switch works but not the down switch , the rear right goes up and down and the rear left it goes down but not up .
Qny ideas ? Ive checked the four fuese

Are you able to test with a spare or similar switch. Pending on age, being standard toggle switches can fail up or down due to wear and tear. When I had my 2002 Freelander, the same issue with switches, but the replacement exactly the same for console dash and doors.

Yeah I bought one for a fiver on ebay , same issue

Did you ever fix it ?

Does your multimeter show low voltage or nothing for the cable.

Yep the switches were at fault. Surprised how quickly they can fail. Britparts buy twice offer get the nineth cheaper.

You can strip the switches down and clean the probes inside the get clogged with dirt and grime on the contact's and sometimes just need a good clean

Problem solved , it was the wires in the door
