Window Switches

Hi,

When I bought my 300tdi the rear near side window wouldn't work which I still need to get round to look at however the off side did. However the other day I put the window down (using the switch in the fornt) and it went down but wouldn't come back up so I tried the switch on the door and no joy either. In the end I took a quick wire from the battery to the motor to get it to go up. I am guessing therefore it's a faulty switch is it likely to be the door, front switch or both or something else all together?

Could be anything. Mine only work when they feel like it..................

Rear windows seen to have this problem it's usualy down to an open circuit in the window ecu which can be repaired with a dab of solder, there's info on what to look for how to do it etc on the forum.
