Hi all, turns out my driver's side window motor is knackered. Thought it was the switch but turns out there is power getting to the motor but it ain't doing anything. Anyhow, I've previously replaced the regulator mechanism, what I'm trying to find out is if it possible to get the motor out without removing the regulator. As I can't lower the window I can't get to the bolts to release the glass. I'd rather not destroy a perfectly good regulator if possible. Any ideas? Cheers

You can remove the motor from the regulator, so it will allow the window to drop (not easy to get to the motor off though). But you'll need to refit the motor and regulator as an assembly.

Cheers Nodge, I'm just gonna replace the lot as I've found a brand new regulator with motor for 32 quid!
