Hi all,
I have been repairing the window regulators on my uncles FL1.
I have done them all but the rear passenger side motor seems to have gone too.

I tested the voltage to the motor and it seems to constantly fluctuate from zero to around ten volts.
I was expecting a constant 12v.
Does anyone know what voltage the motor should be receiving? There is no noise from it whatsoever.
So what is it within these motors that fail? Is it just the carbon brushes?
I'm looking to repair the motor rather than replace it.

Typically it was the last door I did and had all the other door cards back on so I wasn't taking them back off to check what voltage the other motors were receiving.

Hi, i altead
Hello Neighbour. I replaced mine because the cable was well lets put it cleanly C**p. Must be something with that side particular and depending on the lifespan. Might be worth in long run just replace the whole regulator than hunt for spares.

I have already replaced the whole regulator. The only the the same is the motor
