Just trying to sort issue with window/mirror controls on drivers door. No operation from any of the window mirror switches and no led’s lighting up to indicate which mirror or window operation locked. All windows working from other door controls and interior lights fine. Mirrors fold when car locked.
It has a 3 wire plug connection and 7.5 volts on either side and 0 on what I assume is earth on centre wire.
I have wobbled wiring harness as it passes from door to car body but no change.
Help, Wiring Diagram info would be handy.

Mines a TD4 auto HSE in shiny black, and blame me it it rains today.
was scorching hot on the coast, car covered with fine blown sand, so,
the best car wash in town went.
a few hours later the skies cloud over and - hope it dont rain but,
the gardens really need rain.
ok, it will or wont.
So, whos got what spec then

Ok so no memory module is fitted then.

Where did you measure the voltages?

The doors and mirrors are actually powered by control modules in all doors. The driver's door control module has an additional function of controlling the mirrors, and also sends a control signal on the medium speed CAN to the 3 other door modules, when command of those windows is needed. It's a fully digital drive system, so needs diagnostic equipment to find the faulty component, and potentially to reprogram a replacement module.

It sounds like the driver's door control module has failed, as it's not sending the signal to any other door module, or maybe the door switch pack isn't sending the correct signals to the driver's door module?

It's not switches driving motors any more, those days are long gone. Vehicles now use fully integrated data commands to operate everything these days.

Like I said, it needs a diagnostic read. ;)

Thanks for reply.
Volts measured on the 3 wire connection to switch block.
I understand it’s a digital control but would have expected 5v or so.
I was wondering if it had lost an earth connection and would like to know where the other end of those 3 wires are.
