Can anyone recomend me somewhere to get a pair of decent wind deflectors for my 3 door 2005 Freelander?

I have seen a few on ebay but would prefer to buy some that are recomended by fellow members,

Thanks

I dont know of a good supplier but i have heard there are 2 different ways of fixing them. One way is better than the other. Very vague i know but you get what you pay for. I am thinking about getting some

I have seen the 2 types aswell, One sticks onto the frame & the other sits inside the window frame where the window closes

The EGR ones made in Australia are the most durable, and tougher.

They are the stick -on ones with aircraft-quality tape.

The alternative 'snap-in' ones do exactly as they say - snap! My mate had them and sent them back - in pieces - for a refund.

I have the deflectors and bonnet guard in smoke tint and the headlight guards clear of course.

Formula4X4 have them in pairs for 3 door and sets of 4 for folks with rear doors.

Hope that helps.

S.

I've got the ones that fit into the frame. Personally I think they look better than the ones that stick onto the frame.

The mud is an option!!

However I have no complaints, but I heard drivers say that the windowcables can snap because of these.

umm.. I'm looking at getting a full set for the Disco, may look into the external tape fixing type if the push in ones are known to cause issue/be less durable..?

they are the window gets tight as there is only so much room i went for the stick on tight so much I can not get them of to use again on another car looks like I am going to have to buy some more dam!

Are the Paddock ones carwash proof? Or is it always a no go with stick on ones?

Not that I go often, but once in a while I feel a little bit lazy...:)

The ones that I bought said they would be ok to go through a car wash,But I have not tried yet.
