Happy Christmas!
I got some money which asked me very nicely to spend it on a winch.
I want it for self recovery although nearly certainly will end up recovering other people. Being a series its lighter than most other Landies so would have to anchor myself to winch - would could result in me ripping myself in half.
I want it for both laning (when things go wrong, i know its not the norm to need one laning, but occassionally things go wrong) and P&P sites - it will get muddy and wet.
Ok, so having done a search on here, eBay, Google, etc. I'm thinking Winchmax 12500lb winch with wireless remote, etc. would be good for me. It won't get used enough for me to buy a Warn or Superwinch. Seems to be quite a good one from the budget winch range. I'm not going to be doing hardcore competitions so speed isn't essential.
What do people think? Good choice for my needs?
Tirfor is not an option. Thank you.
