its the age old thing..
peeps who have a tirfor will say there great best thing since and all that
peeps who have a leccy one will say there the best thing since etc etc.

im just saying that on a winch/punch challenge they aint ne good.
my warn has been used A LOT in the 2 years ive had it and its been faultless.

yes a tirfor might not let you down but im sure the operator will

it won't - oil it once in a blue moon - don't over load it or put kinks in the line

count up how many things there are that can fail or break on a leccy winch

do the same for a Tirfor/Jet Rope

bored now .......

tirfors biggest failure is the operator..

how long could you withstand continuous use of a tirfor

and what happens if the rope does kink? does it render the tirfor useless?
im sure this could go on and on

unless yer a girl using a Tirfor isn't so hard - you'd have to be a careless fool to put a kink it the SWR, if you did manage to kink it it'd still be usable

whereas if yer battery went flat, or yer line snapped, or yer solenoid stuck, or yer motor over heated, or yer wiring melted ........

suppose it's an experience thing, if you'd seen so many dead leccy winces you'd appreciate why peeps like simple reliable winches - each to their own

not debating the fact.that atirfor has its use

just sying that i couldnt use a tirfor in a punch/winch challenge event..

time is of the essence and speed of use.

i have chosen for the titan winch,
i got a great deal there, for a 12000Lbs winch and i will see ore its any good, if its not bad luck for me!
but i will keep you up to date!
