Winch tray

Hi all not sure where to post this so if it needs to be moved that's fine....I'm after a winch tray that will be able to be used with my tubular bumper as I don't want to change mine as I like the look of them....where is the best place to get one as I don't have the abilities to make my own...unless someone has a spare one for sale ??

You would probably need someone to fabricate a special, or modify a standard plate to suit. Tubular bumpers are normally either winch or non-winch ... As you have a non-winch it might be very awkward to get someone to make one or even modify one to fit, simply 'cos it's a lot of faff and probably not worth the cost for someone's time to make it. The other issue is also that a winch might not fit properly as the A-frame on a non-winch tubular is often smaller than a winch bumpers ... Then there's the mounting of the bumper. A non-winch bumper is only a bumper, a winch bumper has to be able to pull a whole vehicle out of the gloop, so often has thicker material, stronger mounts, extra gussets etc.

I'd try to swap the bumper for a winch tubular, something like yours ... or buy another you like the look of that's suitable for the winch you have and then sell your existing.

Thank you I will have a look at what's avail of the shelf so to speak ...never give it much thought as to the strengh difference to be honest...
