very similar to the one iv just got, it works, not tried it under load yet (thats tomorrow).

i replaced two of the metal can type ones with it.

Yeah you need a 400A solenoid for most smaller winches, about 30 quid delivered, not be best quality but last a few years, or buy a top money Albright that will last you a long time.

Most winches can be rebuilt to make like new again :)

If you buy off that seller make sure you pay by Paypal because he says "I will not accept responsibility for items lost in the post unless the Special Delivery option is used" which is bollocks, if it doesn't arrive it is down to him. Paying by Paypal makes it very easy to get a refund if it doesn't arrive.

Wiltshire Landyman gave me a couple, but my winch is broken .. pm me an address, Paypal £5 for postage ([email protected]) and I'll stick you one in the post, including a fitting instruction page I got with it.

You'll need to find appropriate screws for the connections, they look M4 or M4 size. I haven't cleaned it 'cos I used the other one, I dunno if it works but I assume it does 'cos the other one I got off him does .. ;)
