Hi
I'm fitting a superwinch X0 to my series and trying to sort out the wiring as the remotes where missing , the coulour schemes seem all mixted but it seems wiing one way the motor turns slow and the other the motor turns faster.
Would I be right in thinking it shiould be slow pulling in that is actually winching a load and faster for unwiinding ?
Thanks
Paul

shouldn't make a difference. Where did you buy it? I would call/email them for a wiring diagram. how many wires do you have? I take it you are only wiring in the remote?

I also presume you mean't X9 not X0.

Owners manual here: http://www.expeditionexchange.com/superwinch/x9manual.pdf

I just found this also:

'Hand-Held switch on 15' of rubber cord is included. Instant stop design ensures absolutely no coasting. Lever operated clutch simplifies fast wire rope payout. Fully weather resistant cover keeps out the elements. The X9 has a remote-mount solenoid station, and the S9000 has a S3 Solenoid is submersible, sealed and comes with an exclusive 3-year warranty. Other standard features include power IN and OUT, free-spooling drum, mechanical and dynamic braking, and roller fairlead. The S9000 has a fully enclosed housing helps keep the weather out'.

So you could be right if you have a newer unit. I have mine on a switch in the cab as well as the remote, so you could just fit one of those.

Hi
Thanks for your replies.
I've had a look at the user manual but it doesn't really help.
Definitely turns faster when wired one way.

I bought privately and the control was missing and I'm trying to use a generic control so the wire colours aren't necessarily the same.
Also trying to wire in a wireless remote with different coloured wiring again!
