Im after the hook on the end of a winch cable and also the clamps/crimps but I cant find them anywhere, anyone able to point me in the right direction? Its not for my landy but our recovery truck, the old cable is frayed at the last 5 meters so were gonna cut it off but I dont want to reuse the crimp, way to dangerous...

Cheers for any help

If you had a location in your profile we might be able to send you to somewhere on your side of the country.

I use Bristol wire and rope or Avon crane. They are both in Bristol.

I would get looking for any rigging companies. so if you near the coast or any port i would start there.
you will then get stuff that has a swl rating.it might cost a little bit more. but the safety is worth it

I work for a lifting gear company, pm me and i'll get you a price.
You'll need to press a new hard eye/ferrule on to the end whilst fitting the hook unless you use a coupling link.Might be just as cheap to buy a full length of wire rope and we'll press it on.
