I recently bought a winch bumper from Guardian to fit on a pals Disco. We phoned Guardian to ask if it will fit a 1996 Auto with aircon and was assured it will fit but I may have to push a couple of pipes up slightly.
Well I cant figure it out, the whole gearbox oil cooler and pipes appear to be in the way? You cant push them up as they are tight up against the front crossmember.
I can just get the top bolt hole in the bottom bolt hole on the chassis and it just misses the pipes, so it needs the pipes right out of the way, plus the cooler sits where the winch would go, or thats how it looks to me.
Any advice on how this will fit guys? Have we been sold a pup?
