will my exhaust fit???

I have just aqquired a 1979 classic with a 3.5 v8 on carbs,manual with O/D.

It has a rather nice stainless exhaust fitted , will it go on my 1990 3.9 v8 auto without cats?

The two tail pipe outlets will sound good too!

The exhaust headers will be different and I'm pretty sure that there is a problem clearing the gearbox mounting. The 3.9 also has a larger bore in standard form.

But hey, that's not to say it can't be done.

ahh it aint worth the hassel if its too much work , my 3.9 system is ok at the moment.
