will landrover 90 tyres fit my td5

been offerd some tyres for my td5,these tyres have come off a defender 90,205/80/16 this chap says they will fit,dont want to get them unless i am sure.

any info would be great

Stock size on a disco 1 so would imagine they'd fit a 2.

Std tyre sizes on a TD5 are 255/55/18 or 255/65/16.

If you put those tyres on the handling and safety will be rubbish and IF you have an accident you are handing the insurance company a "get out of payment" card.

But it's up to you..............................
