You don't have much look with cars do you AntNot today, but driving home in the Bimmer and the rear manifold hose went pop, so I am now sitting on the M3 awaiting recovery!
I have tremendous luck with cars.......bad luck that is.....No in seriousness, the failures I have seem to be just random ones that I seem to encounter. The Bimmer is Full Service History (verified by BMW) and the engine bay is very clean and looked after....raft of reciepts and is an ex-company car and maintained regardless of expense. You don't have much look with cars do you Antdid you manage to sort out your lighting problem ?
Don't p!$$ on my fireworks...That's weird, bloody Range Roversfingers crossed for you then mate, it would be interesting if it comes back when it starts to get damp again

Yep, he had to come from their compound near which is on one side of a dual carriageway by St Peters Hospital....down to the big roundabout at the end.....round that and back up the otherside of the dual carriageway to the M25 Junction at Chertsey to join the North bound M25...then go along to J12 (M3) ..... head towards Sunbury Cross (J1 on the M3).....turn around at Sunbury and head back down the M3 towards the M25 Junction (J2) as I was just past the Junction and could only be reached by heading up the M3 from Junction 1 (Sunbury)........and all this in the middle of rush hour about 16:40 ...... on one of the busiest stretches of the M25 and the busiest section on the M3 (due to the road works)....hence the delay.Damn near 2 hours? Bugger that, when my CL went tits up on the M1 free recovery had one of their wagons with me before I got off the phone to my own recovery company (didn't realise I was in the FR zone). Had a nice chat with the chap, he had only been doing the job for a few months and every vehicle he recovered had been from the Big Three German marquees.
