Hi

I use a 4x4 for work and currently drive a 3.0D ISUZU Trooper. Its a great car from a practical point of view but the fuel consumption is rubbish. I get low 20's round town, 26/27 on a run and somewhere in between as an overall.

The fuel consumption is the only thing making me consider a different vehicle. On Paper a 300 Tdi Disco looks much better but most of the posts I have read on here disagree.

As I do mostly 'A' road driving at a speed of 65/70 do you reckon I'll see enough difference in fuel saving to warrant changing?

Any thoughts appreciated.

cheers

Alistair

Disco would be slightly better if you kept it standard, it's not going to be enough to really make a difference to your wallet though.

The disco would be cheaper on parts though, so maintenance costs could be lower.
