Wierd 'leccy window.

Here's a good one, this in no way is a problem to me as I don't use the rear windows often. Car is a 1998 300 Tdi XS.

When I start the car, it takes about 6 minutes before I can use the rear windows, either from the front swithches or the ones on the doors. This time delay is constant and always happens upon each and every stop & start.

Is there a time delay in the MFU for the rear windows? Just wondered in an academic sort of way.

Could be a dodgy joint on the PCB.

Pop it out and have a look.

mine are exactly the same ! (and same motor). i've leaned to live with it but would love to know why this happens.

Glad that I am not alone, andii, not too sure about dry joint on PCB, seems to be more of a time delay relay sort of thing. Oh well, will continue to live with it, it's just a bit irritating when I want to drop the rears a bit for the dogs.
