Hi

Does anyone know if a Range Rover is running too slow on a very long run (excess 200miles) will this start to mess with the meter?

Mine did today started losing power no splutter then suddenly picked back up with more power.

I'm thinking this is either a fuel problem or head gasket, however, you out there have had Range Rovers longer than I so I thought i'd put youre experience too use.

Hi

It's all been sorted out. The engine oil was slighty about a gallon too much (12ltrs of oil)

So I'm guessing that the oil was being sucked into the piston bores causing it to stress.

Or the EFi went mad due to excess oil pressure/crank case pressure
