Why isn't the Defender top on this list?

The 4x4s that depreciate slowest

...whilst a bunch of ****ebox rep-mobiles on stilts that couldn't get off a wet cricket pitch are listed.

(Range Rover and Disco excepted of course)

I mean, the Fender holds its value absurdly well.

I notice its not on the 'most and least reliable 4x4 and SUV' list either.

Wots a fender cost new circa 23k? Whots it cost after 3 years close to 17k? Approx 75% RV

and all the complex engines like the td5 and tdci have rotting electrics, the 200/300 will be the only ones left running

thats what i keep telling myself anyway

I suppose its because the people who dream up the surveys still think of it as a bit agricultural and dont imagine ya average Jo will be using them as they havnt got all the electric gubbings to satisfy ya average never go off road punter, therefore are not put into the surveys... but i may be wrong
