I have a tricky issue with my Landy

I got the car at 85k miles and carried out the following mods:

K&N high flow air filter

Serck fast road intercooler

Cat removed

Re-mapped by Jose from TD5inside

I've just recently returned from Spain with 2 passengers, normal luggage and a 350kg trailer. Every time we went up a hill the power would disappear near the prow (seemed sensitive to throttle changes), mostly it would return after pumping the accelerator a few times but occasionally it would cut out altogether (lights on on the dash), after 10 seconds or so it would start and off we'd go again, no amount of gearing down or maintaining revs seem to make a difference. the car is perfectly fine in the UK (I live in the fens so not much engine load going on here).

Engine temperature was fine throughout, general fuel consumption has gone down by 25% ever since.

I've changed the fuel filter, removed the snorkel but still the problem persists.

Could it be diesel quality?

Intercooler related?

Fuel pump?

Any suggestions very much appreciated.

Its the heat. In Spain its hot and gravity becomes stronger in the heat. That and the diluted fuel. I blame the cheap olive oil.

Kinda know the feeling. My 110 felt like it was stuggling up some of the hills in The Pryenees, had to drop into 1st a couple times!

Are we still talking about the famous 'best 4x4 by far' ?
How do the local drivers in those countries cope, I know … they buy Landcruisers/Jeeps etc?
Is it just a diesel engine problem or does it effect petrol power as well?
