2.4 TDCI Puma Remaps

Hi All

I have a 2008 2.4 TDCI 110 Puma, recently I added a straight through exhaust, Allisport intercooler, sports airfilter and had the egr blanked.

I then had a remap added onto the car and it would churn out black smoke under load, had my injectors benched and they were all good, also checked all air and fuel sensors.

In the end i had the map removed and the car is now fine, no smoke.

Has anyone else had problems trying to map the 2.4 TDCI? or has anyone got a mapped car that is running well and can recommend the map provider/tuning company?

Who did the map and what kind of map was it?

Mapping isn't a yes or no thing. There literally are 1000's of variables that can be tweaked and profiled. Some will make it smoke more and some won't.
