Mines a 2000 2L diesel, 5 door with 259 000km(162k miles) on the clock, snapped an IRD one month after I bought it. Got it two years now with no problems. One month left on the warranty and I need to claim.

Tiny still winning by 10k!!! :D
Ya just can't beat those old XEDI's can ya?
By the way Casybai - Tiny said to tell you it will be the pre-heat relay which needs replacing. She knows what it was like last winter firing on 3 and spewing out white smoke! If you need a link on where to buy a massively over-engineered unit that will restore your cold starting joy for under a tenner- let me know.;)
could you send me the link please?;)

our freebie is a '52 plate,epsom/lomond green, had our hippo for nearly a year:- mods vortex alloys, privacy glass, walnut dash trim, side steps, lamp gaurds and some under bonnet tweaks, its done 91K miles. not had any probs until i was trying to change the intercooler hose near the rad "leaned" a little too heavy and burst the rad and had to be recovered and a nice little garage bill of £450 to get it all fixed ...................fooker lol!!!!

My 2000 td4 gs with 104000 miles must be old because when i tried to buy a gasket from my local main stealer, guy salmon wakefield parts dept, the reply was are you sure its a 2000 we didnt build td4's until 2001!!! i dont go there any more!

We have 99 'V' 1.8 xei 5dr in Ardenne Green & it clocked over 100k on Sunday! It has had some 'issues' but its a bloody good car so we are keeping it & I have nearly got all bits to do the 04 on facelift to bring it upto date :)

Mine was reg 11.97 and has done 126000 and i changed the oil put new contacts in the starter and will have to weld up the n/s/r sub frame due to cracks in frame. Has been in rear wheel drive for as long as i have owened it.Total cost in repairs and maintenace for one year has been £21 ,wiper blades ,oil and filter. Contacts where free. Will have to buy some tyres soon . its a xedi .

How have you managed that?

04 Td4, 104K, not the oldest or highest mileage, but not a bad yearly rate.

Hi

Mines a TD4, Bonatti grey again! 2001 vintage (x reg cheaper tax!) very happy with it. sure it has little problems here and there 67500 miles to date but i wouldn't change it. well only for a new one!

not sure about the oldest hippo, certainly one of the oldest threads.

for the record, 53 td4 auto commercial, 66k at the mo, had it 2 years, done about 30k in those 2 years, £800 for injectors and stuff, £115 for rear window regulator, and MOT just over a month away.........
