who's going billing aquadrome 17th,18th,19th july

you will be lonely as the LRM weekend is being held at Newark this year

the lro show is on at billing 17th 18th 19th it used to be at billing before newark then they changed it back to billing

I am going to LRM show at Newark July 17-19th I have just booked my tickets. The Show | Land Rover Max Show | Newark Showground | July 17-19, 2009

I'm going to give Newark a shot. Have been to Billing every year since 1996 but I think it's had it's day - the site just can't cope. Hopefully the Newark show will be better and doesn't go the way of LRE/Kelmarsh.

Daft having 2 shows at the same time. One will definitely fail.

LRM had provisionally booked Billing and decided it was not a good venue for various reasons so set about establishing a new event at Newark. LRO stepped in and organised their show at billing for the same weekend. There are 2 shows on the same weekend and only the traders will suffer. I think both shows will have a low turnout and most people are disgruntled at the fact both shows are on at the same time.

Overall its bad think for land rover fans and land rover traders.

for that reason I wont be going to either and i did support the Eastnor show as thats the only show without any Lr politics involved.

Hope they both gets things straight for nest year.

I'm having alook at Newark, as I said, mainly because it's only 30 minutes down the road from me. Hopefully the (expected) extortionate entrance fee will be worth it, but I have my doubts.

Day tickets on the day: £10
Kids under 16: FREE
Weekend show ticket: £20 (no camping, 3 show days)

Agree, makes no sense to have both on the same weekend, as Griff said, result = ruining it for traders and Landy lovers.

I would like to go to 1 or even both shows, but they're both showing a lack of planning and awareness, it's the same weekend as the "the biggest military airshow in the world", so I know where I'm going.

I'm going to Billing, purely because it's closer to me. Stupid Magazine wars, ruining it for all. I would have gone to both, if they were on different weekends.

Are you refering to Fairford? Think my old man was offering me and the girlfreind tickets as he won a pair and already has a mach3 pass for the show.

Love fairford. Been going since 93 except for the last 2-3 years due to landy comitments!

Correct, Fairford it is. Though just been offered a ticket for Billing, we'll see, can't get there until Sat night anyway.

i'll be at billing, closer for me, and looking at the trade stands, billing has a better list by far.
I just think its such a shame, it would have made more sense to have them on seperate weekends, we're all missing out this way.
