Really nice work here. Well done.
Just wondering why you go to so much trouble and effort, is it just for yourself or will you use them as show cars for your business?

Sometimes those are used for showcars, but I do this just for fun and pleasure of creation.

+1
Like I say to the misses - I don't play golf [yet], or rugby/soccer/cricket... don't drink [much!], not a hunter disappearing off into the mountains every weekend, not a frequent skier now... So it's my only vice at the moment. I too get a lot of pleasure/enjoyment/satisfaction working on it.

Yep, a lot of fun with those :) especially when parts don't match :D

Now it's time for do some wiring looms for new toys... ordered 120 meters of wires in various colours... LoL

Preparing it to summer open top mode :D

Boot cover is on place

So... only left to remove hard top and put soft top... next week :D :D

Hi mate just a quick question was there a reason you did the air intake pipes in stainless steel instead of aluminium as i was under the impression the steel would get too hot?

Great work mate too, you have given me so many ideas too now, thanx

Use SS because those were on the shelf, and better looks. In L-series i got polished aluminium ones, and both works great.

Intake temps (before change IC) are lower on SS pipes about 5-8 deg. Those get hot but also get cool very quick when fans working. So no worries about temps :)

I'm happy that you like it.

Well, some part of sound proofing is done...

On the standard, there is... nothing...

Results are noticeable. Less roof trim squeak, less wind noise :) . Better results will be when side panels and doors will be done.

also finish my front:

So... a 15 hrs of hand polishing and detailing...

Lower part of pic shows how it looks before - Scratches, scratches... and scratches.. Top of pic shows how it looks after using Poorboys World SSR 2,5 and SSR 1 on "German" polishing and cutting pad. Most of damages are gone. rest of it can be removed by polishing machine, but this will be done by Pro people. So, after 15 hours whole body is done.

Then I use APC to remove all dirt and polishing stuff leftovers. Next step is Poorboys Blackhole, for better and deeper colour, and Natty's paste blue wax for finishing.

So, after fitting new MAF (magneti marelli) instead of three other Bosch Mafs it finally works. Smoke is no more present (sometimes it make a "puff" of black one, but turbocharger is not tuned with new IC yet). Difference was instant noticeable after fitting it, but after 200 km ride ECM learn how to use it, and another improvement has been present.

So, just need to fit thermocouple in exhaust manifold and it can be properly tuned. It finally arrives from Australia.
