Next week or two we're busy.
Td4 will be have complete new sport suspension (-30mm) by Land Rover and H&R with Polybush Dynamic bushes all around, and front strut brace , new big Intercooler thanks to Allisport, set of fresh injectors, polished fuel lines, new A-bar supplied by friends from Japan, bumper fogs by LR and a lot of smaller changes :D

Well, Allisport says that their IC is compatible with all Td4's freelanders...
It isn't . For pre facelift all mounts need to be cutted out, shorted and
re welded. Then it will fit after small bumper cutting from inside.

Next bad news is that H&R springs for this model are too short... got a lot of play in strut when all is assembled

This was my 2002 Freelander. The Allisport IC was an exact fit, using large screwdrivers to lever the bottom brackets into holes that had to be enlarged for the brackets to fit into.(Yes, I was facelifting the Freelander at the time, it is definitely a pre facelift despite the headlights) . The strange thing, when I fitted this IC into my 2004 facelift , it was so tight I broke the radiator when fitting it.

Well, that design is for sure not an exact fit ;)

Top mounts are too long, and place IC too much forward (bumper don't fit). Right support miss chassis leg , and there is an collision with alloy bumper
 
:D post part's lists with numbers and prices :cool: ?

So far, a bar of saddle soap (free from my ex) on the seats, tack conditioner for the seats (free from my ex), solvent cleaner for the interior plastics (free from my last job)... ;):D

I'll start a Fred when I get onto it properly... ;)

Front is new all around. We've got new lower arms, new ball joints, new links, new driveshafts. Of course polybushes.

:D cant wait for first test drives, but first we need to put new injectors in it.

Engine with refurb manifold, polished fuel lines and new intake flange without EGR, and with boost gauge connection port .
There are also replaced injectors, new cam cover seal, cam chain checked, camshafts aliment checked :D
 
Don't have a graph yet, also it's not tuned up. For now it feels like sport's version around 130 bhp. It have less turbo lag, revs up much quicker than previous setup.
After dyno and tune we expect about 140-150 bhp maybe more. Nobody knows yet because all setups are for standard IC's ect.:D
