Fella in farnham royal bucks done mine for £100 which i thought was really good as no way could i have done it myself had it for about 4 hrs not to far from croydon.

I'm not sure if mine need doing!

Under drivers carpet felt really wet, but doesn't feel like water but a very light oily stuff.

I wondered if it was HVAC fluid or coolant - not sure.

If I have to fix mine then I'd offer to do yours but distance dictates otherwise. :confused2:

**** - I better do mine quick before my BECM drowns.

I wont ask how - i'm going on a search of the www.................. oooohhhhhaaaa, shhhhhhhiiiiiittttt, that looks bad............... omg ........!!!!!!

That was quick ........ I think I'm gonna cut a big f'ing hole in bulkhead. Do ya think I'll reach it then... lol:5bbeatdeadhorse5:

Who designed this beast?

It is not that difficult to do the O rings. Took me half a day. Mine went after about 9 or 10 years. There is a write up of a short cut procedure on RangerRovers.net.

Officially the dash has to come out but the short cut procedure involves cutting one of the rear air vent ducts under the dash to improve access. It is taped back together when done.

Did mine a few weeks back - the info on short cut is very good as are the excellent pictures on Landy Zone do a search on matrix "o" rings - would suggest it could take upto a day and make sure you replace the draw bolt with a stainless steel allen head bolt M5 x30mm (I seem to recall) - other thing to concern me was the disconnect of of the air bag wiring to instrument binacle (also good time to change bulbs when it is out) I did not remove battery (more luck than judgement) issue around loss of sync (again different opinions on some of the threads) by the book battery needs disconnecting. As also said with all bits out blend motors on driver side are easy to get to. Cutting the air duct pipework was hardest and most time consuming (a dremmel would be good here but take care)- I was luckly with the draw bolt which is a cross head - when replacing "o "ring may find another pair of hand in engine bay to hold the pipes could help when reassembling - good luck - do not leave it too long you will either drown the BeCM , corrode the wiring to the blend motor or the wiring to the diagnostic port. Last thing when bits are out replace the tempsensor to the heater - it only clips on part number STC 3256(suprised less than £20) & o rings part number STC 3262 (suggest you get a spare pair just in case you nic one -easly to do)
