Who wants a discount for Bures?

Ahem, its after 4 oclock

Bad news Wildtracks its 6 quid to get in the park then another 25notes to drive round=31 squid not cheap.
And another thing Bures Pit Essex clearly staes they are the new owners/operators but not with imeadiate effect.I dont think so!
Looks like we have been lead up the garden path here!
Well chaps who wanna go bures this weekend ill email them through the other driverite address and see what they can do.otherwise its full price im afraid but we'll be safe in the knowledge this new lot arent running the show yet.

Yeah defo still up for it.Emailed driverite, dunno if well have any luck witha discount Cel a vie or whatever.looks like you, me, redrange and dan lr90 are all gonna meet up and have a jolly up the a12 any way.

i did get a reply from bures today, they say to speak to driverite for any info concerning the 16th march and they gave me a phone number for them too, 07791 088053 or email them [email protected] il do it now.....

Hi Mark,

Yes we would give a group discount, normally it is for groups of 10 or more, however this is the last one until the Autumn and we will be very busy so if you come see Kaye on the gate and quote Landyzone to her for a £5-00 reduction so it will be £20 per vehicle.

i ve got the same email-jobs a goodun.Right wheres we all gonna meet?PLaces along the a12 would be easiest?Im thinking macDs or service stations en route.Dan lr90 has PMd me hes in chelmsford so we can meeet him too.Ill pm the rest see where they wannan meet up.We wannan be there by 10?Probbably be best

hows about the services at the Witham turn off on the A12? the services are in the top right corner of the pic below and you can see the slip road (in yellow) making it easy to pull back on to the A12!.
Meet there at 10 am as goonarmy mentioned............

as i can have me last fill of LPG (they do it there) and its easy to slip back onto the A12 as well!

if we make a list of who,s gona meet at Witham then we dont have to hang around waiting for people who may not be coming, can shoot off when we all there!!! il aim to get there for 9:45am so i have time to fill up!

As far as getting from witham to bures is this the easiest route, i think so but if someone knows better, off the A12 at colchester then take the B1508 to bures! you can see the pit in the top left corner!!

you never know if i get carried away again i may have a manky old P38

il be at the witham services on the A12 about half nine, there a sanwich van there (i think), breakfast cheese burger mmm!

just tought if anyone coming to meet from the A12 north this shows how, the services are at the bottom junction, you can come off the A12 at the other end.....
