I know the veg oil thing has been discused many times, but i'm told that if you also add 3% white spirit that it helps on the starting?
Also can i use veg oil in a freelander td4? (already using it in the 300 disco)

you would be better off with pukka bio, it sells for between 80p an £1 at the moment

Bought ktc veg oil from costco at 69p ltr, i've read lots of the stuff in the search's but not seen anything about white spirit

The white spirit is just to ruduce the viscosity a bit you could also use petrol etc. Personally I wouldn't use veg oil in anhy engine with modern electronically controlled fuel systems. There'll be some people along in a minute to tell you different mind.

i wouldn't put veg oil in a td4 it will probably block the injectors, and they are expensive to replace. Better asking the question in the freelander section.

White spirit works ok the only trouble is it's illegal to use for road use as there is no means for you to pay fuel duty on it.
Might just as well add petrol.
