White Smoke

Got a weird problem. White smoke only at Idle on a 2001 TD5. Doesn't use oil or water and doesn't do it all the time. No reduction in performance. Engine is 70,000 miles ( only put it in Dec 2010) Cant see Much smoke when under load.
Is this a fuel/air mixture problem. Cant get my head round this one :doh:

Handy if you did a search! but now I am here just change your air filter and you should be sorted.

Got new problem now. gear box seized. should have got a nissan !!!!!

For the smoking bit when were your filters last changed?

Its ok nissan navara's have gearboxes made from carrot and tiny clutches. one of my customers is on his 2nd gearbox and 4th-5th clutch (does alot of towing) enjoy!
