White exhaust smoke

I know that normally white exhaust smoke is caused by cylinder head gasket on the way out, associated with loss of coolant,and loss of power etc. My disco has white smoke when I let of off the accelerator, no loss of power, no coolant loss and no sludge in the oil filler cap, what other cause/causes would make my disco do this. Any/all suggestions, other cause would be great.

Its the 300tdi with 161,000 miles on it, as i said it only smokes on overrun ?

sniff the smoke if you can...oil or diesel?if oil then valve stem oil seals,possibly oil from turbo bearings,blocked breather...

Smells of oil, gonna try one of these engine seal oil additives, if it works short term then ok, otherwise its gonna be another engine, luckily my mate has a low mileage one.
