can anyone help iv,e had trouble with my 1996 300tdi when the enigine is ticking over it chucking loads of white/blue smoke out but when you pull off after a very short distance it clears then soon as i pull up itts starts again within seconds of stopping i,ve had my turbo checked and its knackered, but at tickover the turbos not under load ? anyone got any ideas

could be perished valve stem seals, this can cause smoke at low revs as the oil pressure drops allowing it to creep past, but as you say your turbo is goosed there is still oil passing through the bearings which as they are worn lowers the oil pressure anyhow, best bet sort turbo then look at any other problems,

Replace turbo 1st and flush intercooler out at the same time then allow a few days for residue to clear out.

Don't leave it to long if the turbo spits the seal on the intake side it won't be good
