Hi all,

I have a td4 2004 automatic still under warenty.

I have a slight whinning that comes and goes, not sure what it is (thinks transmition), any ideas would be of help before i go back to the dealers.

Thanks in advance.

Pete.

Hi, thaks for the advice, but the problem i have is it has only started today and its not all the time.

My luck would be that i will take it into the dealer and it wont make the noise?

Thanks, Peter.

tip. . .make sure all tyres are same make ,un also all worn to same ratio, this can cause a whine , yours might jist be wearing ,the front always go first. . .:)

Hi Ming,

Thanks for the tip. I have noticed the nearside front tyre is a little low on pressure, i will put some air in tommorow and hopefully its as simple as that.

Thanks again, Pete.:)
