Hi, my 96 3.9 v8 has a whining noise only when it gets hot.
I am under the impression it's the water pump but it doesn't seem to be losing much water. There does seem to be moisture above it in the gulley that runs through the middle of the engine. It isn't spluttering but doesn't idle very well when it warms up. The noise is in the video
