which pipe for decat?

want to decat my 300tdi 1997 defender

anyone fitted either of these ?
ESR2297 | Front Pipe - 300TDI without flexi
or
Land Rover Discovery 300 Tdi DeCat Cat Removal Pipe | eBay

or any suggestions for alternative?

it looks straightforward to fit is it ?

I believe the MOT is going to insist that if a CAT was fitted at manufacture, it will fail MOT if it's no longer there. I would check this before spending your money - or be prepared to put the CAT back once a year!

Ill let you know in a month n a bit, decatted mine before the change, MOT due in June.
woudnt care but it got a cleaner pass last year without the cat than it did the year before with...

depends on your chassis number if it needs one or not...
