OK so its time for a new pump but which one?
From what I know so far my 90 has a Disco 200 TDI....
But so many pumps look similar....3 bolts on the pully....push on hose feed from tank then bolt fitting to BOX...

Hard to take a Pic but if this helps its best I could do...

Subttle differances pipe (push on) location..one from the back and one on top....for e.g.?

Yeh I noticed this and although hard to see, mine goes in from the back....but one I found is £140 and one that looks like it will fit but has the pipe on top is £117...will they both fit?

If the high pressure pump connection has a banjo connection on the end its a defender item - I think this usually fits on the back. My disco conversion has a screw in fitting on the high pressure outlet - on the side of the pump = disco power steering pump.

Def version also has a longer nose and is more expensive.

Look at the engine number offside front top of block first three digits tell you whats what engine wise
The downpipe and pas pump certainly look defender spec to me, have you got a pic of the engine bay?

You cant change them just by new hoses as the second one fouls the chassis, due to the side low pressure pipe fitting. yours is fitted to land rover 2.5 turbo and early 200tdi
