Hey, my Airportable has the 3.5L v8 coupled to the 4speed LT95 box. I was going to fit an overdrive to make it a bit more drivable on the road. However the gearbox has a serious amount of backlash.
I was toying with the idea of fitting the LT85 box. It will bolt straight onto the engine and should be a bit more drivable.
Is there much difference in the box sizes - i.e. mounts, prop shafts etc
