You missed the best one for the D3/4. The Gap Diagnostics IID BT. ;)

That does look impressive and comes with an impressive price tag.

The IID is the mutts nuts, but and this is important to remember, they sell 2nd hand for 300 quid very quickly, so even if you pay full list you wont lose a fortune.
Iid number 1
Icarsoft number 2

The rest no idea

One of the main advantages wth the IID is, so many people have one, when you get stuck there is always help out there, unlike the other tools, and when you royally fcuk up, all you do is message the makers and they will reply telling you how to sort it, try that with the other makes!
If you are going to keep the D3 for any period of time, then the IID is a must have.

Absolutely. I actually sold my IID for more than I paid for it.

I bought it when it was on offer from some 4X4 specialist. I had it 3 years, in which time the RRP had climbed considerably. When I sold mine, it actually sold for £20 more than it cost me, so I was well pleased.

But yes as you correctly said. The IID will save the cost of itself after just a few code reads, and still hold its money to sell on when the vehicle isn't needed any more. ;)
