which cylinder head - ERR5027 or LDF500180?

so which replacement head do i go for to bring my 300tdi back to life? Apparently LDF500180 has better cooling ports or is this nonsense?

Are the britpart heads any good?

its more the radiator or coolant level that where an issue rather than head design ,i have used quite a few britpart heads amongs others all been good since ,the main thing is finding cause of overheating is the main thing ,but obviously they are of an age now when head gasket could go due to age

recent overheat due to head gasket/head failure (cracked). I think the original overheat was as a result of the P gasket failure some time ago!

rimmer bros are offering the new LDF500180 at £370 ish complete, island 4x4 the old ERR5027 at £300 ish

Got mine from paddocks £295 plus vat
