Which chassis?

I've been patching up my 90 defender 300tdi chassis most years for about six years now and reckon it's about time to bite the bullet and order a galvanized chassis.
I understand there are a couple of choices and reckoned on you people knowing the best option/make. What do you think is the one to go for, and which company is likely to be the most helpful when it comes to helping with delivery to the north of Scotland.

I bought mine from Marsland chassis, i'm currently rebuilding my 90 at the moment and i havn't found any problems with it. They delivered it on time.

I bought it off them as they were cheaper than Richards chassis (not sure if they are any better though)

It's a few years ago that I did a re-chassis but Marslands were the best deal at the time.

Mine was a Marslands, fitted earlier this year, very please with it, delevered on time etc. etc.

And you've got to love the fact the're made in a place called "The salt pie works" how cool is that.

Mine's a Richards as they delivered for free and had one in stock.

How did you get on with the Delivery ??

I was told you kneeded a forklift of enough man power as driver did'nt unload!

2 man it's a easy lift, it's no where near as heavy as you'd think

I had it delivered to Gumtrees as it was part of the insurance requirements.

I'm thinking of getting one delivered to a UK address to pick up later but I don't think me mum would manage on her own

I'm sure a few people from here would help your mum. Give a rough location and see who PMs you?

Richards use 3mm thick steel in their chassis so I hear?

How do the marshlands chassis compare? 2 or 3mm?
