Hi guys,

Have just bought my first landy, but have no idea about the history of her. The interior seems to be RAF grey, so possibly ex-RAF? Anyway, going back to the title.... I cant find the fusebox anywhere! All the electrics work and she runs fine, but I just cant seem to find the fusebox anywhere! Any of you guys have a good idea where it could be?

Also, the battery is under the bonnet and I have been told this is also un-usual for a series 3. Any help would be great!

Cheers!

Built in to the underneath of the steering column shroud. And it's common for S3s to have the battery under the bonnet.

edzachery like oxides said under the steering column looks like a slightly raised cover thing held on by 2 screws bout the size of a swan vestas match box

if your series 3 is 88" its common as muck fer the battery tray to be under the bonnet only if its a 109" is the battery housed under the passengers seat

under the column there are four fuses in there but only two are used, at 35 amps each not much protection given..

Cheers for your imput's guys! Greatly appriciated... Just got her back from the MOT centre, with a 3 page fail list!! Let the fun begin!.........

cant be that if it got you there and home take to an mot tester that has a ****in clue about landies..
