Hi all...

wonder if anyone can help in 2 questions..

I would like to get a straight through exhaust with side exist for my 200tdi disco, but can´t find any bits.. only for the 300.

Are they both the same? I have seen straight through section to replace
the middle box, but only for the 300, nothing for the 200...
Suppose that the side exit would have to be something fabricated as it might not be available for sale?

Another question is...
does anyone know or have any clever idea how to stop mud getting on my rad?
I have a different front grille, which I think looks better than the standard one, but the downside is that when I go in a mud pit the mud goes straight in the rad, while with the standard grille it stops it a bit from going in...
I was wondering if there is something like a cover I could put over or something?

here´s a pic of the front

No idea on the side exhaust but for the mud in the rad, if you have an old compost or dog food bag, they cut up well to cover the front of your grille. A peice of tarporlin will do the same, just bungee it into place when you're going in the deep stuff.

Most of the guys who do this say there's no problem with overheating as long as you only use it for an hour or so.

good idea!! a mate has dogs, so I'm sure he wont mind me having one of the food bags, have seen them and they are huge!

about the exhaust, I've now found on the internet a straight pipe to replace the middle box, but no luck on the side exit pipe to replace the back box, so i think it's a case of being custom made.

for you side exit exhaust you could do what i have done and got the end off an old transit van exhaust also has nice rounded tip to it to make it look tidy :)
